Get out of here! That is so cool, it's almost impossible to catch a hummingbird on film! Love it!
I know! It is hard, lol. I have about 2 dozen pictures with nothing in them because he he kept moving out of the way too fast. I just wish I could have kept my hands steadier so pic would have come out clearer :o(
My neighbor gets about 3 and they are all feisty about who gets their turn. I wonder how their bodies deal with the red dye in some of the sugar water. Hmmm...
LoL, I actually worry about that Martin. That's why I always use green dye when I fill up the feeder.

I guess the green dye could be bad too. Heck, you know what they say about green M&Ms.
Actually you are suppose to put beet juice in the water and it turns it red without the harmful red dye chemicals.
Beet juice? Where the hell am I gonna find beet juice??? LoL.
Martin, I just figure that if I use green instead of red, it won't change the color of the bird ;o)
Definitely better than blue. Wouldn't want the lady birds thinking the guys are desperate.
