Insomnia Sucks!

So here I am, it's 4:30am and I have to get ready for work in less than two hours... God! Somebody just shoot me, please!

I hate when that happens... I always look at the clock every 5 minutes, then I start stressing that if I fall asleep now I can get 4 hours of sleep, then 3 then 2.. Thank God it doesn't happen very ofetn, but I can feel your pain. How are you feeling today? Hopefully you took a nap.

Among my other ways of getting back to sleep, I turn on music. For some reason, I sleep well to external stimulus.

Glass of red wine before bed never hurt anybody :)

Insomnia sucks. I used to suffer from it a lot, but thankfully it hardly happens anymore. I sure hope your day today wasn't too bad, running on empty 'n all.

Thanks you guys :o) That's exactly what it's like Teri! Luckily, it held on and I made it through the day without falling asleep at work.

I actually go through this quite a bit. Those first few hours are the worst, but then you get to that loopy stage (where I am now, lol) and it's not so bad... As long as no one is around to make fun or make deep conversation, that is. Those deep conversations can make your head spin something awlful!

Oh sure Jill, rub it in :p

And no thank you, I'll have to pass on the xanax, lol. I told you what happened the last time I took one of those (slept for two days straight!) I just can't handle the pills.

I know exactly how that feels. I never can sleep peacefully. The bad thing is, I don't have cable. Thus, when I can't sleep, I'm stuck watching infomercials all night.

Trust me, cable doesn't help.

Actually, I think I'll start another post about this, going more in depth this time...

It'll be all about dreams!

PS: Vavoom! Thank goodness you saw this. If I sound like a doofus on your blog, you know why, lol ;o)
